Photographer Adair Rutledge Brings Us Back-to-School in Style

 Commercial lifestyle photographer Adair Rutledge is bringing us back to school in style with this super quirky, very cool photo shoot she did for Seattle’s highly lauded Washington Middle School Jazz Band and Music Program. Adair does a great job of capturing the sheer confidence and awesome personalities of some very talented kids, and it’s just the inspiration we need to get us back in the groove.

“This is such a gloriously awkward and fascinating time of life when you’re testing your independence. This program is groundbreaking and these kids are doing it with gusto. To highlight the personality and style that comes with the territory in middle school we opted for clean lighting and a blank canvas,” says Adair.
