Photographer Sarah Flotard Gives New Tillamook Recipes Some Cheesy Goodness
If you're looking for a fresh take on an old favorite, here's Schafer's recipe for classic Tillamook grilled cheese!
INGREDIENTS
8 slices of fresh white bread
16 slices Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese
4 oz softened Tillamook Unsalted Butter
TOOLS
Cookie sheet pan
Cutting board
Sauté pan
HOW TO
8 slices of fresh white bread
16 slices Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese
4 oz softened Tillamook Unsalted Butter

HOW TO
- Heat oven to 300° F. Place a cookie sheet pan in the oven.
- Place 4 slices of bread on a cutting board place 4 slices of cheese on each slice of bread.
- Cover with the other slice of bread. Spread softened butter on top and bottom finished sandwich with pastry brush or butter knife.
- Heat a Sauté pan on the stove on medium heat. Place each sandwich in sauté pan and toast evenly on each side. Then place one by one in the oven on the cookie sheet till they are all melted.
