Welcome Acclaimed Portrait Photographer Ken Dundas to Sally Reps
We are delighted to officially welcome photographer Ken Dundas to our diverse roster of talent at Sally Bjornsen Represents. Scottish-born, Dundas has spent his adult life steeped in the craft of photography. Learning on film and embracing the process of developing images, Dundas has embodied a prestigious international career.
Widely recognized as one of the best photographers in Scotland for his distinctive style of portraiture, Dundas portrait gallery includes James McAvoy, Emma Thompson, Sam Heughan, David Lynch, Robert Carlyle and Alan Cumming.
Dundas studied photography for four years in Glasgow and apprenticed with award-winning photographer David Eustace. He spent his early career as a staff photojournalist in Edinburgh and later enjoyed an extensive career working across Scotland’s performing arts industry, with projects involving Scottish Ballet, Scottish Opera, Dumfries House and Gleneagles.
For more than a decade, Dundas held a long-term commission for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and in 2012, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery honored him with a solo exhibition and has exhibited his work four times.
Dundas embraces high standars in his photographs, brings an open-minded, international perspective and ease to the work he does for the arts, editorial and celebrity clients. He currently divides his time between Seattle, New York and Scotland. To see more of Dundas' portfolios, click here.
