Food Stylist Rachel Grunig Dishes on Dreamy Desserts for the 4th of July

Seattle food stylist Rachel Grunig makes a mean berry pie. She's not giving away all her secrets but she did have a few pearls to share for our upcoming holiday pie prep.

“For a great berry pie, always start with delicious, in-season berries. Good berries won’t need much - a little bit of sugar, a squeeze of lemon and a tiny bit of cornstarch or flour to thicken the filling. Make sure to let the pie cool before you cut into it. That gives the filling a chance to set up so you don’t end up with a runny pie.”
