In early spring, Creative Director/Photo Art Director Q
Caylor was hired by Figure 8 Creative and Arhaus Furniture to collaborate on the creative
direction and visual evolution for the furniture brand. Known for providing unique, high quality, well-designed home furnishings, the
Arhaus team wanted to visually express the distinctive, hand-crafted “found
pieces” the brand is known for. Q brought a fresh perspective to the brand’s
photo art direction and aesthetic working with the team to establish a more
focused Arhaus look and feel in its photography. The rich and colorful images
in the Spring catalog specifically feature hand-crafted pieces unto themselves,
minimizing distraction and highlighting specific design detail. The first
