Stay Calm at the Historic Hotel Ballard

Interior photographer Alex Hayden recently photographed the Historic Hotel Ballard for Gray Magazine. Formerly the Starlight Hotel, Hotel Ballard has been renovated to accommodate a clientele that wants the unique boutique hotel feel.

Located in the heart of historic downtown Ballard, the hotel is within walking distance of some of the cities most renowned bars, restaurants and clothing stores. Completely renovated and restored to its 1902 elegance, Hotel Ballard features 16 intimate rooms with 21st century amenities.

Built in 1902, the building was originally commissioned by the American-Scandinavian Bank. In the late 1920s it was converted to a hotel, which served the City of Ballard and neighboring communities of Fremont, Wallingford and Magnolia for over 100 years.
