Rina Jordan Takes on Napa for a Cookbook Photoshoot

Food photographer Rina Jordan has been busy the last five months. Since August Jordan has been to Napa four times documenting various wineries and restaurants for an up and coming cookbook called Wine Country Chef's Table from Globe Pequot. The book, written by Roy Breiman the Culinary Director at Cedarbrook lodge, will be available sometime in mid 2012. Rina estimates that she took approx 15,000 shots. over the four week long trips. "I now have a gorgeous collection of amazing images from Napa. It's definitely a project I will remember for a very long time," says Rina. The images include not only mouth watering food and wine shots but also an array of interiors, landscapes, still life and portraiture. " It was a great opportunity to tell a visual story about the process of producing fresh food and wine, " says Rina. "I have such an appreciation for the work of vintners, restaurant owners, chefs, and farmers. Their passion and effort make life delicious for the rest of us."
