Marcy Maloy, San Francisco based lifestyle photographer, recently wrapped a shoot with long time client
Blue Canoe, maker of organic cotton apparel. "The photoshoot took place in a magical location," says Maloy. "It was a private residence in Sonoma. One entire side of the house opened up to the outdoors allowing natural light to flood in. From a lighting point of view it was amazing and of course it helped that the weather was great." Aside from the outdoor umbrella falling into the pool the shoot went off with out a hitch. Maloy attributes the success of the shoot largely to the great chemistry with her longtime client and art director. "It's a very collaborative team and that allows us to work fast and fluidly.
