San Francisco Lifestyle Photographer Marcy Maloy Hired by H&M and Mr.Youth to Document Flash Mob

San Francisco lifestyle photographer Marcy Maloy was recently hired by social media marketing agency Mr. Youth to document the behind the scenes moments at a video shoot for H&M. The “flash mob” made up of 55 kids, aged 9 to 13 at Union Square is featured in a youtube webspot to promote the new H&M store in San Francisco. “All of the kids in the shoot were amazing dancers,” says Maloy. “There was so much unbridled energy. Getting authentic, spontaneous images of the kids was fun.” Most of the dancers were associated with Future Shock, a dance school in Oakland, California that teaches hip hop among other things. “I've never seen such great hip hop,” says Maloy. Following the four minute “flash mom” scene Marcy shot a fashion show at the H&M store.
