Marcy Maloy Shoots Catalog for Apparel Maker Blue Canoe

Last week, photographer Marcy Maloy shot the Spring 2010 Blue Canoe catalog at the gorgeous Solage Calistoga resort and spa in Calistoga, CA. Blue Canoe the all-organic cotton clothing company based in Garberville, CA is one of Marcy's long time clients.

The biggest challenge this time was completing the 17 lifestyle shots in one long shoot day. Maloy and her crew started before sunrise and finished as the sun was setting. "The best thing about the shoot was my great crew," Say Marcy. "It was a fabulous location with beautiful natural light."

Marcy has been working with Blue Canoe for over 5 years. The relationship has grown and thrived because the client and art director give her a lot of creative freedom. "The shoots are always very fun and collaborative," says Maloy. "I always look forward to working with the Blue Canoe team.
