Marcy Maloy Goes to the Circus

Marcy Maloy, San Francisco & New York based children and lifestyle photographer, has been known to dabble in the circus arts. A trapeze artist herself, Maloy recently combined her love of photography with her love of the circus on a test photoshoot at Oakland’s Trapeze Arts. “A few months ago I heard this song by Charlie Chaplin, Swing Little Girl. It was my inspiration for this shoot, it’s about a sad trapeze artist,” says Maloy. "The two sisters who modeled for me had never been on a trapeze before but the team at Trapeze Arts coached them along.
